The Planetario de Medellín Jesús Emilio Ramírez González stands in the Parque de los Deseos, by Universidad station on Metro Line A. Its digital dome hosts immersive shows, and the planetarium covers the earth sciences as well as space. A ticket includes two levels of interactive exhibits, with the Science on a Sphere globe, and one dome show; one of the daily shows is made for children. The Kaldi Kaffe café and bakery is on site.

Visitors use Parque Explora's guarded car park, with limited spaces: COP 4,500 per hour or COP 16,000 for the day for a car.

Take Metro Line A to Universidad station, where you will find the Parque de los Deseos and the Planetario. Many bus routes run along Carrera 52 (Carabobo) and Carrera 53 (Ferrocarril).

What are the Planetario's opening hours?
Tuesday to Friday from 8:30 to 17:30, with the ticket office closing at 16:00. Weekends and public holidays from 10:00 to 18:30, with the ticket office closing at 17:00. It closes on Mondays, and on the Tuesday after a Monday public holiday, for maintenance.
Is there a show for children?
Yes. The children's show Avellanas en el cielo runs at 10:00 and 14:00 from Tuesday to Friday, and at 11:00 and 15:00 at weekends and on public holidays.
What does a ticket include?
