About
Casa Ritmo Latino is a dance academy in Laureles, founded in 2019, that teaches salsa, bachata, porro, cumbia, reggaeton, kizomba and zouk to locals and travellers, in English and Spanish. It runs group classes from Monday to Friday evenings, private classes for one person or a couple, and intensive programmes that combine private coaching, group classes and a night out dancing with a professional partner. The school says its classes also tell the story behind each rhythm. On Thursdays an open-level salsa and bachata class from 8:00 to 9:00 pm is followed by a social until 1:00 am. No. The school's schedule page says you need neither a partner nor previous experience, and its intensive programmes are designed for people starting from zero. It asks you to sign up and pay for a group class before you arrive.
